  • Ms. Patty

"I have been blessed to be part of the staff at Zion since 1981. I am currently the classroom teacher of our youngest little ones at ECEC. Although I have enjoyed teaching other age groups over the years, this is definitely my favorite and I really believe this is where God called me to be. I live and worship locally and I love being part of a life/small group that meets weekly to grow in Gods' Word. I am an avid animal lover with a house full of dogs and I also enjoy volunteering periodically with other animal welfare related organizations. Although I do not have children of my own, I have a sister and nephew who I love."

I am bilingual and enjoy traveling to Peru to visit my family."

I went to California State University, Fullerton and have been teaching for over 20 years at Zion. When I am not teaching, I am busy with my family. I love watching my son, Logan, play baseball and like to see my daughter, Julia, in her dance recitals. I have been married to my husband Craig for over 19 years and our family is proud to be a part of the Zion Family"

  • Miss Jackie Stephens

"I have been blessed to grow up in the Lutheran school system here in Orange County and to further my education at Concordia University, Nebraska, where I recently graduated with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.  I truly believe that God has led me to where I am today, teaching his littlest disciples at Zion.  My favorite thing about working with two year olds is practicing what it means to have a child like faith daily.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and going to the beach."
