7:00am Be a part of a glorious Easter outdoor service at 7am on Zion's front lawn. Chairs will be provided, a blanket may be desired if it is cool. This service also includes placing flowers in the cross. Flowers will be provided, and you are welcome to bring your own.
8:00am - enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast!
9:30am - come inside for an inspired Easter celebration with Organ, Brass, and our Worship Team.
Communion will be celebrated at both services.

first communion
I am excited to invite you and your child to our First Communion Class. Zion Lutheran School is dedicated to nurturing Christian faith in our young people and their families. To this end, we offer an early communion class in fourth grade. I truly believe that communion is one of the greatest gifts God has given to strengthen our faith and once we understand it, there is no reason not to receive it regularly. In our class the students will learn about God’s love for them, and specifically what it means to take communion.
All fourth-grade students will take the class during school hours weekly from January through March. They will then be given the opportunity to take communion for the first time at the Service on March 22nd 2026 at 8:30 am.
We will have parent meetings on February 22nd and March 15th for parents of students who wish to take their first communion with us. The meetings will take place after the 8:30 am service at 9:30am.
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation Service will be on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at the 10:10 am Service.

for your child in 7th grade or above.
